It’s simple: people who like coming to work produce good work.
At Varick, we create an environment where everyone has the chance to share, create, and be heard. Our executive team isn’t a group of unseen, all powerful deities but rather an involved team of senior leaders who thrive from collaborating with employees of every level.
Our culture expands beyond the walls of our office. Varick employees are committed to the community as they are to each other.
Circle of Tapawingo Camp: for the past three years, we’ve helped raise money for a traditional overnight camp that caters to young women who have experienced the death of a parent.
NY Cares: Employees donate warm weather apparel to needy New Yorkers through the charity group’s annual coat drive.
Kaplan House: Kaplan House is a residence that helps underprivileged adolescents prepare for future career opportunities. We host quarterly discussions with the house’s members where employees can share their own experiences in the job market and give tips on career readiness.
With an ever expanding group, we make a concerted effort to encourage a positive workplace. Check out our Instagram page to see how we bond through Jenga, superhuman feats of strength (read: marshmallow eating contests), and bartender of the month club.
